Product Description
Vital Phos – Zinc is an ultra-acidic (pH < 1) and highly concentrated phosphorus- and zinc-based formulation, specifically developed to address one of the biggest challenges in Iranian agriculture: nutrient fixation in alkaline and calcareous soils. By modifying the chemical environment around the root zone, this product helps overcome barriers to nutrient availability and uptake.
Key Benefits of This Fertilizer
- Reduces Blockages & Deposits: The strong acidic properties help dissolve calcium deposits in nozzles and irrigation lines, while supporting the synergistic uptake of phosphorus and zinc.
- Enhanced Root Development & Flowering: Zinc (Zn), as a precursor to the auxin hormone, combined with active phosphorus, promotes cell division and fine-root branching and helps reduce early-season bud drop.
- Indirect Pest Resistance: The specialized formulation of Vital Phos helps strengthen the plant’s natural defense system, increasing its resilience against sucking pests such as pistachio psyllid and helping reduce pest pressure.
Why Is Vital Phos Ideal for Iranian Soils?
In alkaline soils, phosphorus can quickly become fixed by calcium after application, reducing its availability to plants. Vital Phos – Zinc helps lower the pH locally around the root zone, helping release bound phosphorus and make it more readily available for root uptake. The result is more efficient fertilizer use and greater crop productivity.
